🕚 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. PT / 2:00–4:00 p.m. ET

Join us on Human Rights Day for CEDAW Rising’s second national convening, focused on local strategies to address gender-based violence.

Our first convening drew more than 95 registrants from over 20 cities and counties across the country. Participants represented a wide range of sectors—local government, grassroots advocacy, academia, business, and social justice organizations—all committed to advancing intersectional gender justice in their communities.

This session will offer greater opportunities for participants to connect and share ideas and challenges from their respective jurisdictions. The program will include more than an hour of breakout roundtables, following a short expert briefing.

Also, we will host a follow-up, informal session on December 14, 2025, from 1:00–3:00 p.m. PT / 4:00–6:00 p.m. ET to carry our discussions forward and include those who could not attend the December 10 session.

We will send out invitations with registration links next week. In the meantime, please mark your calendars—and if you are not yet on our invitation list, reach out to be added at cedawrising@protonmail.com.

We look forward to coming together and learning from you, as we continue to define CEDAW implementation in concrete, actionable terms.
